REAN – Rural Enterprise Action Network CIC is a community-led organisation established to support farmers, rural businesses and rural communities through practical crime-prevention initiatives, security support and community engagement.
Starting in Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire, REAN is developing locally focused projects that respond to the particular challenges faced by rural communities, while building a model that can be expanded to other areas in the future.
Our work is designed to complement existing police, local authority and community services — not replace them.
REAN’s work is being developed in stages. Our initial focus is practical rural-crime prevention, security support and equipment initiatives for farmers and rural businesses. Alongside this, we are developing a longer-term rural community warden model designed to provide visible reassurance, prevention and community engagement across rural areas.
